Rumson Country Club Summer Wedding

Patience and Brendan had a perfect warm summer day for their late August wedding at the Rumson Country Club River House. For those reading this who aren’t familiar with the River House, it’s owned and operated by Rumson Country Club but is located about half a mile from the Club, directly on the water. The River House is a mix of coastal and nautical vibes all in one. A big reason they selected this wedding venue was that it reminded Patience and Brendan of their wonderful dinners with Patience’s late grandfather before he passed.

Jersey Shore Wedding

Patience and her bridesmaids started the day getting ready at her mom’s house. All the girls enjoyed a relaxing morning of hanging out and enjoying each other’s company while drinking champagne and getting their hair and makeup done. Before the ceremony, Patience did a first look at their famil’s Church with just her dad. It was such a special moment to witness as they both teared up! The service was beautiful and traditional, which meant a lot to the couple. Seeing her dad walking her down the aisle was another one of my favorite moments of the day!

Rumson Country Club River House

I worked closely with Patience and Brendan on the entire design of this wedding. We started at the beginning by selecting gorgeous floral stationery for her Save the Dates and carried that through to the day-of stationery, such as the menus and the table numbers. We had a beautiful runner of bright pink flowers on the head table and hanging rattan baskets that were hung with greenery. I worked with the most amazing vendors to bring our vision to life including the gorgeous chairs and water goblets from White Glove Rental, and the table linens from BBJ La Tavola. Patience and Brendan were both speechless when they walked into the space – which is all I can hope for!

The band kept all their family and friends out on the dance floor all night! Patience’s dad even wrote a song and performed it with the band! Congratulations to this wonderful couple!
