Hi guys! I am so incredibly grateful to have met this amazing couple! When I say that Elizabeth and Tom may just be the most genuine people I have ever met, I truly mean that!
When I first heard from Elizabeth + Tom, I was happily surprised to learn that their wedding venue was right around the corner from my home! Elizabeth grew up in the beautiful town of Maplewood, and it is such a cute town! Just a short commute into NYC. I had also heard so many great things about Maplewood Country Club, it is not only known for its competitive golf course, but locals to Maplewood rave about the exceptional and extensive menu, and I’ve heard they are a pleasure to work with (always a plus!). And, it recently went through a beautiful renovation, but not to worry, they kept the historic charm of the ballroom!
Elizabeth and Tom’s day was filled with so many beautiful moments. Elizabeth chose to get ready at her childhood home, alongside her beautiful bridesmaids and both her parents. While Tom opted for lunch at the country club, enjoying the beautiful October weather with his groomsmen, which of course included Elizabeth’s two brothers. The two were so blessed to then be surrounded by their friends and family at Elizabeth’s family church, Our Lady of Sorrows, in South Orange, NJ, just minutes from Elizabeth’s home.
When the ceremony concluded, it was only a short drive to the reception, where the night started with one of the most elaborate cocktail hours, where guests were able to enjoy the outdoor patio overlooking the beautiful golf course and the nice crisp weather. However, my all time favorite moment was when Silver Arrow Band introduced Elizabeth and Tom into their reception and before starting the night, the two had a beautiful choreographed dance to “Come a Little Closer” which was the perfect way to start off the evening of non-stop dancing! Congratulations Elizabeth + Tom!!
