Jamie + Matthew | Spring Lake Golf Club | 10.12.19

Jamie and Matt’s wedding weekend was one for the books! I say, wedding weekend, because the celebration kicked-off with a Welcome Reception at Asbury Lanes. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Asbury Lanes is a recently renovated concert venue that also has bowling. Think, Brooklyn Bowl for those of you familiar with the Brooklyn venue! If you find yourself in Asbury this Summer enjoying the beaches, then I would definitely recommend going to check it out! It was the perfect spot for Jamie and Matt to invite all 225 guests to begin the celebrations. I’ve included some photos below captured by our INCREDIBLE wedding photographers, The Hons. We were fortunately to have them with us for the entire weekend. The amazing band, Roses In Stereo, had everyone dancing ALL NIGHT long, and Asbury Cotton Candy Co. gave our out-of-town guests a little taste of what makes Asbury so unique!

You’ll see from the photos that Jamie had a style and vision that was unparrel to anything I had seen before. Her vision of “dancing underneath the stars” was where it all started and as our ideas started to come together, it was even more exciting. We of course collaborated on Pinterest and then moved all of our ideas into a vision board that we referred to constantly throughout the planning months. Vision boards are an invaluable tool, especially when it’s so easy to get carried away while scrolling through Pinterest! This specific vision had its challenges, but with lots of coordination and a dream team, we really made our client’s vision come to life. Our amazing floral designer, Jardiniere Fine Florals, played a huge role in this design. Jardiniere worked tirelessly the day of the wedding to execute the stunning ceremony Chuppah, a market style arrangement of flowers for the place card table, and our stunning tablescapes.

We couldn’t have done any of this without the help of the Director of Special Events at Spring Lake Golf Club. We love Jaqui! We secured Fabrico Productions to assist with lighting the tent which added warmth. When the weather was slightly colder than anticipated, they jumped in and added the beautiful white draping around the perimeter of the entire tent. Sperry Tents installed the tent and custom wood floors, and Party Rental Ltd provided us with goblets for each place setting and the long rectangular tables that helped us achieve our goal of 225 guests comfortably. We completed the look with their charcoal velvet linens that added that something extra! Jamie’s mom provided the bride + groom with custom napkins with their initials. It was such a beautiful detail and surprise! The guests were entertained by 45 Riots and photobooth was provided by The Hons.
